Located at the top of a small hill, this small smoke-free home is perfect for small group / family lodging! Partially built into the hillside w/ a nice grassy yard that is surrounded by big trees and some woods, there is also the lulling sound of a waterfall from the nearby Big Bear Adventure Golf. Conveniently located right in Indian River and within easy walking distance to Big Bear General Store /Golf/ River Trips , you can just walk or bike down the hill and across the road into Burt Lake State Park (w/ over 2000 feet of sandy beach on Burt Lake and frontage on the refreshing Sturgeon River). There is no air conditioning or phones, however there are fans and satellite TV! Outside is a cement patio w/ table and chairs, a charcoal grill, and also a wooden deck w/ picnic table. In the yard is a campfire ring and more outdoor seating.
The "Dorm" (completely remodeled in 2003)
- Sleeps 10 (12 if 2 people use the pull-out couch)

- A log bunk bed w/ a double on the bottom and a twin on top (sleeps 3)

- Two bunk bed sets (sleeps 4 and the twin beds are all extra-long)
- Living Area = 2 couches (1 that is a pull-out), Satellite TV
- Full Kitchen = refrigerator, oven w/ stove top, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, pots & pans, plates/ glasses/utensils, table w/ 2 benches & 2 chairs
- Bathroom Area = 2 separate toilet rooms w/ floor-to-ceiling walls , 2 separate tiled showers, and a vanity w/ 2 sinks and long mirror (6 people can all be getting ready at once!)

Camping in Tents:
- Rustic, tent-camping is permitted in the yard when reserving the Dorm (the bathroom facilities would need to be shared w/ the Dorm.) There is a limited number of campers allowed.
- Rate: $4 per person per night
