These special rates are available to non-profit youth groups only (church, scout, 4-H, athletic teams, birthday parties, etc,) with a minimum of 6 participants. These 2005 rates are per person, and are good 7 days a week.

Guided Winter Raft Trips! Experience the breathtaking beauty and solitude of winter, while floating beneath a canopy of cedars and pines covered with freshly fallen snow. Our knowledgeable staff will guide your raft down the crystal-clear Sturgeon River on a fun and narrative 1½ hour trip, offering you an excellent opportunity to see wildlife in their natural habitat. We offer 6 person rafts (12 maximum at one time, as we only have 2 rafts). A group of 24 can divide into 2 with half going rafting, the other half going snow shoeing, then switch. Rafts are spacious, relaxing, comfortable, and a great "team booster". Most importantly, they do not tip over - this is a dry trip! In the winter, our raft trips are Guided-only, to ensure the highest safety standards. All equipment is U.S. Coast Guard approved and safety-inspected, and Type III Lifejackets are required to be worn by all participants. No experience is necessary, but participation is required (this involves TEAMWORK!) A truly unique trip with memories to last a lifetime! |

Discover the exhilaration of gliding over the snow on a well-groomed trail, along rolling, wooded terrain and dense pine forest. A wonderful, low-impact activity for all ages! Rentals include Fischer cross country skis, poles, boots, bindings, basic instruction, and maps to great groomed trails like Wildwood Hills Pathway, which has 3 loops to choose from and is only 3 miles away! Unguided (for up to 2 hours). Guided, educational excursions are available for snowshoe rentals for an extra charge. Please ask for options. |

Strap on a pair of today's lightweight snowshoes and you'll quickly see why snowshoeing has become one of the fastest growing winter sports. Rentals include Atlas "Back Country" or MSR "Denali" Snowshoes, poles (upon request), basic instruction, and maps to help you discover some of the area's most beautiful trails (some are even right across the street at the State Park or just 2 miles away like Seven Springs Nature Preserve!) If you can walk, you can snowshoe! Unguided* (for up to 4 hours), includes all equipment and maps. *Guided, educational excursions are available for snowshoe rentals for an extra charge.
